EXHEAT supplies Duct Heaters to Vladimir Filanovsky Oil Field

29 Oct 2013

Watton, UK - EXHEAT, one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of electric process heaters and associated thyristor control systems for Hazardous Areas, is pleased to announce it has been awarded the contract to supply Duct Heaters to Vladimir Filanovsky (Filanovskoye) Oil Field (Yuzhno Rakushechnaya Structure).

The Vladimir Filanovsky field was discovered with the first exploration well in Yuzhno-Rakushechnaya structure, 220 km from Astrakhan. This field will produce around 8 million tpa over nine years. At the Filanovsky field, recoverable C1+C2 oil reserves are 153.1 million tonnes, and C1+C2 gas reserves are 32.2 billion cubic metres. Output is to peak at 6 million tons/yr (120,000b/d) of crude and 1 Bcm/yr of gas. Startup year is expected to be 2015.

The development will consist of two phases; phase 1 development will consist of an ice-resistant fixed platform (IRFP-1), designed for drilling and well operation, phase 2 development will include the construction of an ice-resistant stationary drilling platform (IRP-2), living quarters platform (LQP-2) and 60 metre connecting bridge between them.

About EXHEAT EXHEAT is recognised as one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of electric process heaters and associated thyristor control systems for both Non Hazardous and Hazardous Area equipment. EXHEAT has extensive global experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Thermal design.
